Arms and interventions
This cohort will include 25 adult patients scheduled for elective coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) surgery with a preoperative left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) \<40%, as determined by transthoracic echocardiography. Before induction of general anesthesia, patients will undergo gastric ultrasonography to assess Perlas grade, gastric antral cross-sectional area, estimated gastric volume, and the presence of high-risk gastric contents. No experimental therapeutic intervention will be administered.
