Record History

  1. Minor Study First Submitted
Bronchoscopy diagnosis and treatment is highly irritating, and the effect of local topical anesthesia is poor; the airway is shared; and COPD patients have low oxygen reserves due to impaired lung function. At present, clinical anesthesia generally uses nasal cannula for oxygen inhalation. If the anesthesia is too shallow, it may cause airway spasm, and if the anesthesia is too deep, it will inhibit breathing and lead to hypoxia. Hypoxemia has been reported in 66% of COPD patients undergoing sedation for bronchoscopy. Therefore, solving hypoxia is the biggest problem in anesthesia for bronchoscopy diagnosis and treatment.
