This study aims to investigate the acute effects of rigid taping based on the Mulligan Concept on elbow valgus angle, hand grip strength, and pinch strength in healthy young adults with an elbow valgus angle of 15 degrees or greater. A total of 25 healthy young adults aged 18 to 25 years were randomly assigned to either an experimental group receiving rigid taping or a control group receiving placebo taping. Elbow valgus angle, hand grip strength, and three types of pinch strength (lateral, tip, and three-point pinch) were assessed at baseline (before taping) and 20 minutes after the taping application. The main objective is to determine whether rigid taping based on the Mulligan Concept provides greater immediate improvements in elbow valgus angle, hand grip strength, and pinch strength compared with placebo taping.
