This randomized controlled trial aimed to evaluate the effects of laughter yoga on emotional labor behavior and menopause-specific quality of life among menopausal nurses. A total of 120 premenopausal and postmenopausal nurses were randomly assigned to an intervention group (n=60) or a control group (n=60). The intervention group participated in eight laughter yoga sessions over four weeks, while the control group received no intervention. Emotional labor behavior and menopause-specific quality of life were assessed at baseline, post-intervention, and follow-up using validated instruments. The primary objective was to determine whether laughter yoga improves emotional labor behavior and menopause-specific quality of life compared with usual practice.
